One of my ongoing issues has been lack of movement and range of motion in the left elbow. On my first visit with Celina, she worked on the elbow through pressure points within the arm. I noticed a big difference. She continued to work on the elbow as well as the tightness in my hamstrings. I’ve been seeing Celina for 2 1/2 to 3 years now. The visits are not as frequent. The first time I saw Celina was for shoulder pain, or so I thought. The Osteopathic techniques she used are so gentle that it feels more like holding and pressing areas than the massage I was used to in the past. When she was done and I stood up, I realized, how stiff and restricted my ankles, hips and pelvis were prior to her work. What started as shoulder pain ended in total body alignment and relaxation. I left the office with more movement and flexibility in areas I didn’t even realize were restricted, in addition to relief of the shoulder pain. I visited Celina upon experiencing severe pain in my neck, shoulder and back from an aggravated long-term work related injury. I first went to my personal physician who offered muscle relaxants and not much else. Needless to say, the medicine did nothing to relieve my pain.
